Piano Tuning

It’s important to have your piano tuned regularly. Tuning makes sure that this wonderful instrument will be a pleasure to play, and to listen to.  Plus, regular tuning will reveal any issues within the mechanism before they damage the instrument further, thus saving you money in the long run.

Changes in humidity and temperature, and being transported can also affect the tone of your piano.

Piano Servicing

We offer custom servicing to keep your piano in great condition.  With a complicated instrument such as a piano, regular maintenance is important.  It will prevent any minor issues we may pick up to be repaired immediately, rather than becoming more serious.

Our servicing includes:

  • Refacing: improving the tone of your piano if the hammers are wearing out.
  • Regulation: adjusting the mechanical parts to remediate wear and tear.
  • Voicing: changing its tone

Mr Dinh Ngo has reconditioned my 1930s John Broadwood & Sons upright piano and has brought back to life a barely playable 1880s Steinway & Sons grand.
